Fallout

Following some teasing by Bethesda yesterday, the next entry in the Fallout series has been officially announced.

Fallout 76 is the name of the game, but little else is known about it currently. The trailer below teases a potential setting of West Virginia in 2102 and shows a dweller of Vault 76 strapping on a Pip-Boy. As the camera pans around the Vault we see decorations for something called “Reclamation Day” and a television broadcast telling people that they must rebuild.

According to Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, Fallout 76 will be “an online game of some sort” and not a traditional single-player RPG like previous entries in the series.

The game is in development for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, but a release date has not been set.

More information will be shared during Bethesda’s E3 Showcase on June 10th.
