Bethesda Game Studios recently posted to Reddit to apologize for Fallout 76‘s current state and the developer’s lack of communication, but more importantly, the post details major changes coming to the game in its next two updates.

The updates will land on December 4th and December 11th, each focusing on a moderate collection of significant changes to the game, in addition to their more widespread technical fixes. The highlight of the December 4th update is an increase to the game’s stash weight limit, which has been one of the main points of contention for the community since launch.

The stash limit is being increased from 400 to 600. Bethesda acknowledges this may not be the size jump players were hoping for, but the developer wants to ensure the increase doesn’t destabilize the game before making it too big. Other changes planned for December 4th include bug fixes for respawning when over encumbered, improvements to loot drops from bosses, and more.

The December 11th update will bring some key changes to the game’s C.A.M.P. function. First is the upcoming Bulldozer feature, allowing players to remove small obstructions from a surrounding area to make building one’s home base possible in a greater variety of locations.

The update will also change how the game behaves when someone is already camping in a player’s spot upon entering the server. It will notify that player with the option to switch servers, rather than automatically picking their camp up. Other adjustments planned for the December 11th update include the option to respec S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points after level 50, and a selection of PC-exclusive tweaks.

Expect the patch notes for each update several days before their respective launches. The game’s previous update, which dropped shortly after launch, was massive and replaced most of the original game file, but these new updates won’t be as demanding.

In other Fallout 76 news, Bethesda may offer you Atom compensation if you bought the game at full price just before its sizable Black Friday price cuts.
