Harmonix’s upcoming Disney-themed music and rhythm game Fantasia: Music Evolved won’t support Twitch broadcasting due to music licensing restrictions, Polygon reports.

“We know that sharing with friends and streaming online is an exciting new feature of current-gen consoles, but there are some restrictions when dealing with licensed music,” a Harmonix rep told Polygon over e-mail. “We will be disabling Twitch streaming for the game, which is not uncommon for applications that might have restrictions on sharing licensed content like music, television or movies.”

According to the Harmonix representative, the studio does have alternative ways to share player-recorded video clips of Fantasia in place, but the company won’t be discussing that in detail until closer to the game’s fall launch.

Fantasia: Music Evolved launches on Xbox 360 and Xbox One later this year. The game’s 30-plus tracks feature songs from artists ranging from Mozart to Elton John to Nicki Minaj.
