Ubisoft has released a new update for the Classic Edition of Far Cry 3 that finally addresses its controller dead zone issue.
The update fixes the issue by “fine tuning the controls” and arrives just in time for the Classic Edition’s standalone release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Previously, the only way to access the game was to own the Far Cry 5 Season Pass.
“Far Cry 3 Classic Edition will let fans and newcomers to the series revisit Rook Island and encounter one of the franchise’s most notorious villains Vaas, who is brought to life by Michael Mando,” the publisher previously said. “As Jason Brody, players must explore the tropical island to find and save his friends, who are being held captive.”
Alongside the Classic Edition of Far Cry 3, season pass holders also gain access to three expansions for Far Cry 5 that feature the Vietnam War, a zombie apocalypse, and a trip to Mars.
Far Cry 3 Classic Edition is available now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
