Far Cry 3 Kicks Off 2013 at the Top of the U.K. Chart

Ubisoft’s critically acclaimed first-person shooter Far Cry 3 has begun 2013 at the top of the U.K. all format charts.

The main reason behind its meteoric rise is the major price cuts that the game has received over the Christmas period at several retailers across all platforms. Far Cry 3‘s jump has ended Call of Duty: Black Ops 2‘s six-week spell at the top. EA’s FIFA 13 crept into second place with Hitman: Absolution and Need for Speed: Most Wanted rounding out the top five.
