Posted on February 19, 2013 AT 03:20am

Ubisoft has announced that the critically acclaimed Far Cry 3 will be getting a new difficulty mode, the ability to reset outposts, and many more new features over the game’s next few patches.
The new Master difficulty mode will increase the aggression of animals, pirates, and privateers in the game. Also players who control all of the islands outputs and have beaten the game will be given the option to reset all of them, giving them a chance to try again.
The game’s map making system will be changed to allow users to test creations and provide feedback. Finally the amount of time between map votes will be increased in multiplayer to allow more chance to skip unwanted maps. A full rundown of all the proposed changes can be found here.
The publisher didn’t offer any sort of time frame for these patches.
