Ubisoft is planning to release a season pass for Far Cry 4 in November, according to a listing on GameStop’s website.
The retailer is currently carrying listings for a PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One version of the $29.99 season pass, but there’s no listing for a PC version at the moment. Sadly the listings don’t offer any details about the pass, except for the fact that it will be available on the same day as the game.
Season passes are not uncommon with Ubisoft titles, with Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag getting one last year and this month’s Watch Dogs also having one. However, the price is a little higher than the $19.99 charged for ACIV and Watch Dogs.
Yesterday, a pulled Uplay page shed some light on the game’s main character. “Hidden in the majestic Himalayas lies Kyrat, a country steeped in tradition and violence,” read the now removed text. “You are Ajay Ghale. Traveling to Kyrat to fulfill your mother’s dying wish, you find yourself caught up in a civil war to overthrow the oppressive regime of dictator Pagan Min.”
Far Cry 4 is set to launch November 18 in North America and November 20 in Europe for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
