Far Cry

Far Cry 5‘s upcoming Dead Living Zombies expansion is full to bursting with zombies, because we all know you can never kill too many zombies.

The animated trailer for the Dead Living Zombies expansion was posted to the official Ubisoft Twitter, teasing the seven horror movie scenarios from the “legendary” film director Guy Marvel. The completion of each map will unlock a Score Attack mode, allowing players to take on the map again and unlock goodies for use in the main game. The only thing that will outnumber the zombies in this expansion will be the bullets sent back at them.

The experience’s seven unique maps were all built from the Far Cry Arcade’s map editor, demonstrating just how deep the feature can be. The expansion will bring additional editing tools to the map editor, letting players create their own zombie apocalypses with features like scripting tools and destructible objects. These will be available to all players following the game’s next free update.

Far Cry 5‘s Dead Living Zombies expansion launches August 28th for all platforms, going for $7.99 standalone, $29.99 as part of the season pass, or $89.99 as part of the game’s Gold Edition. The game’s previous expansion, Lost On Mars, had players fighting off equally horrific monsters, just on another planet.
