Far Cry: The Wild Expedition release pushed back one week

Posted on February 11, 2014 AT 04:39am

Far Cry: The Wild Expedition, a compilation pack containing Far Cry Classic, Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3, and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, has seen its release pushed back by one week, according to publisher Ubisoft.

The collection was originally set to release in the U.K. on February 14, but will now hit stores on February 21 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, priced at £29.99 on console and £24.99 on PC. No reason for the delay was offered.

The Wild Expedition offers a ”great opportunity to discover or re-discover all the main Far Cry opuses that have left an indelible mark in the video-games landscape,” according to Ubisoft, ”from the innovations of the original game to the retro-futuristic mayhem of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.”

For those wondering, in the U.S. the collection goes under the title of the Far Cry Compilation and is available from today exclusively on PlayStation 3 for $40. The difference between the two collections is that the U.S. version doesn’t include a copy of Far Cry Classic.
