For Honor

A new game has claimed the top-selling spot on the charts this February, according to the latest data from the NPD group (via GameSpot).

For Honor, which released on February 14th, became the number one best-selling game on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 lists, boosting it to claim the number one best-selling spot across all platforms for the month of February.

Lower positions on the chart are mostly occupied by older stalwarts, like Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare, Madden NFL 17, and the perpetually successful Grand Theft Auto V. One surprise is the ninth-place Nioh, which managed to chart despite being a somewhat lesser-known game that only released on a single-platform, PS4.

There’s a catch, though—the period of time tracked by the NPD group ended on February 25th, and a new player entered the ring on February 28th. Horizon Zero Dawn is, by the latest reports from Sony, the fastest-selling non-sequel game to debut on the PlayStation 4. Because of the way the NPD group’s data is organized, these sales technically don’t count towards the February numbers, but they’re still bound to put Horizon Zero Dawn on the charts for next month.

Here’s the full list for February 2017.
