EA has announced that female fighters Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate will be joining the EA Sports UFC roster.

This is the first time that women have been included in a UFC video game. Female fighters will not be able to take on male fighters, EA confirmed to Joystiq. “In order to remain authentic to the sport, female fighters will not be able to fight male fighters,” the publisher stated.

More female fighters will be announced closer to the game’s launch.
