Square Enix president and CEO Yosuke Matsuda gave Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III a three-year release window during a recent financial briefing.
A slide from the briefing (via Gematsu) mentions a number of titles that are scheduled to release in “the next three years or so,” including Final Fantasy VII Remake, Kingdom Hearts III, Dragon Quest XI, and Square Enix’s Marvel game.
So both games will be out sometime between now and 2020.
Producer Yoshinori Kitase recently revealed that voice recording for Final Fantasy VII Remake’s main story is nearly finished, but he also said that “there’s still a ways to go” before the game is ready for release.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is in development for PlayStation 4, while Kingdom Hearts III is coming to both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
