Square Enix has released patch 2.25 for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The patch adds a new Materia transmutation system, which is unlocked via a quest at level 19, new PvP gear, four new achievements, and has increased the maximum PvP rank to 40. Sadly, the changes that are set to made to the Zodiac weapons quest didn’t make it into this patch. There are also a number of bug fixes included in this patch.

You can check out the full patch notes here.
