Final Fantasy

During the most recent Letter from the Producer Live, Square Enix announced the release of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers benchmark tool and shared a new trailer for the expansion.

The official benchmark tool can be downloaded here and lets players create a custom character from any of the game’s races, including the new additions of Hrothgar and Viera. The benchmark features various areas from the upcoming expansion and will give players a score at the end to show how capable their PC is of running Shadowbringers when it launches.

In addition to the benchmark, a new trailer has been released that goes over the various actions that jobs will have access to in Shadowbringers. The takeaways from the trailer below are a fresh look at the new Gunblade and Dancer jobs, and a first look at Machinist’s rework, which includes the introduction of a mech.

The expansion was officially unveiled last year and will introduce an increased level cap, two new jobs, two new races, new dungeons and raids, new areas, and much more.

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers launches July 2nd for PlayStation 4 and PC. However, players who preorder the expansion will be able to access it from June 28th.
