THE BUZZ: EA has released a FIFA 12 trailer which details the game’s new “Football Club” feature. When playing this year’s installment, fans will earn XP in all game modes that will generate an overall rank. The FIFA hub has been revamped this year and can now be accessed by a single button press from the main menu. Once activated you can see how you rank against your friends and enter challenges created by EA.

Upon arriving in the “Football Club” you will be asked to select your favorite team. The “support your club” feature tallies total XP gained and, at the end of the day, teams are ranked and awarded points.  At the end of the week the team with the most XP takes the title while those at the bottom get relegated.

EGM’s TAKE: The “Football Club” is a brilliant idea that should succeed in bringing FIFA fans together in a common goal.
