EA has managed to produce the fastest selling game of 2012 in the form of FIFA 13, which managed to sell over one million copies during its first week, a feat only achieved by three Call of Duty games previously.

FIFA 13 outsold last year’s version by 27 percent and accounted for 71 percent of total U.K. video game sales last week. Last week’s top-seller Borderlands 2 slipped down to number two, with Blizzard’s Mists of Pandaria only managing to enter in fourth place.
