EA Sports has released a Day One patch for FIFA 14 to address a number of issues with the game that were discovered during beta testing.

According to a post on the official forums, the patch addresses “stability issues found in the closed beta and minor fixes to a couple game mode (Skill Games, Creation Center) items.” EA has also announced that it plans to tweak the effectiveness of certain attacks, following reports by players during the demo and early access period.

The developer added, “Finally, we’re aware that some users are experiencing freezes during the game. We continue to investigate these reports internally, and with our partners, and will update the community when we know more.”

The game launched yesterday in North America for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, and is set to release this Friday, September 27 in Europe.
