EA Sports has released a fresh set of details and screenshots for its next generation FIFA entry, ahead of its official release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month.
The first feature on the agenda is “Elite Technique,” which adds over 1,000 new animations to the game such as off-balance shots, panic turns, and missed shot reactions. Next up is “Pro Instincts,” this allows players to make decisions up to four times faster than the current-gen. Examples include attackers checking their runs and players jockeying for position in the box on corners.
“Precision Movement” delivers a whole new feel to the game, according to EA, players will shift their weight as they run, gradually gain or lose speed, and momentum is preserved after sprinting. Finally there is “Living Worlds,” which makes stadiums come to life. “The all-new In-Game Director will make each game of FIFA 14 on next-gen consoles feel like a match from the real world. Over 120 different broadcast cameras are positioned around the pitch, each following different players to build storylines and provide stunning new replay angles. You’ll even be able to trigger a replay of a previous important moment during any stoppage of play.”
You can check out more details on each of these features over on the EA Sports blog.
