Booting up FIFA 14 on Xbox One with two controllers connected may cause the game to crash upon startup, according to EA.

According to a post on the EA Sports support website, “using two separate controllers, both assigned to user profiles, and then using controller two to navigate the bootflow when FIFA 14 is loading can result in a crash.” To avoid the issue simply boot the game with one controller connected and then connect the second controller at the main menu.

Additionally, suspending the console while on the title screen will cause online features to become inaccessible after resuming play. EA has advised players against suspending the console on the title screen.

EA has confirmed that an update is in the works to fix both boot issues.
