FIFA 15 will be the first game in the franchise’s history to include every single Premier League Stadium, EA has announced.
FIFA 14 only included eight stadiums from the English top flight, but FIFA 15 will bump that number up to 20. This is the result of an extension of EA Sports’ deal with the Premier League, which will now run to the end of the 2018/2019 season. As well as this, EA Sports has also captured 200 new Premier League 3D player head scans.
“We’re extremely pleased to announce the extension of our partnership with the Premier League, the most played league in EA Sports FIFA,” said EA COO Peter Moore. “It brings our award-winning game to new levels of authenticity and realism, and enables fans to immerse themselves in the drama and emotion of the league. And as a life-long Liverpool FC fan, I know exactly how that feels!”
Finally, EA announced that the Goal Decision System—which decides whether the ball crossed the goal line or not in close calls—from last season will also be included in the game.
FIFA 15 will be available from September 23 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Wii, Vita, and 3DS.
