EA has released a new update for FIFA 19 on PC, with a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release to follow “at a later time.”

Following the update, the distance that an AI teammate defender will stretch to block a shot has been reduced and the distance that an AI teammate defender will stretch when making a tackle has been reduced.

For those wondering, an AI teammate is a player on the pitch that is not being controlled by a human, or is not the CPU AI controlled player.

In addition, the impact of playing with constant defensive pressure on fatigue has been increased in an attempt to prevent players using it for the entire game. According to EA, players playing with Constant Pressure enabled in the active Game Plan or playing with Team Press active will be most affected.

The update also makes an adjustment to tackling, making it so the more is more likely to roll away from the attacking player when a well-time tackle is made. Check out the full patch notes here.

FIFA 19 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
