Final Fantasy: Agito “will definitely be localized”, Square Enix’s Hajime Tabata revealed at the Tokyo Game Show today.

However, fans shouldn’t take this as an automatic confirmation that Agito will make it to North America and Europe as Final Fantasy: Type-0 was also localized, but was never released due to “logistical reasons.”

Tabata added that Agito and Type-0 are “companion titles,” and so he hopes to bring the Vita title to the West via the PlayStation Network. A complete localized release hasn’t been approved yet, but it’s “definitely in the final stages of planning.”
