Square Enix president Yoichi Wada has rubbished any rumors stating that Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been cancelled, confirming that the game is shaping up nicely.
Wada announced the news via Twitter, stating that he had just attended a regular meeting about the game and that fans will be surprised with how it is coming along. Versus XIII was first announced six years ago, but has fallen off the radar over the last few months, leading many to believe that the project had either hit a snag or been cancelled.
It’s good to finally hear something official regarding these rumors, although it would be nice to actually see something about the game sometime soon. Even a new screenshot would do.
