Square Enix revealed during its press conference that it will be remastering Final Fantasy VIII for PC and consoles.

The remaster will feature “overhauled visuals,” according to Square Enix, but that’s all the information we have for now. Get a first look at Final Fantasy VIII Remastered in the trailer below:

The game originally released for PlayStation in 1999, before being brought to PC in 2000, and finally getting a re-release on Steam in 2013. The Steam release contained a number of additional features, including a Magic Booster, a High Speed Mode, and several cheats.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered launches later this year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
