Square Enix has finally announced an official release date for Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster in Japan for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

The collection will be available on both platforms from December 26 in Japan. The PlayStation 3 version will bundle X and X-2 onto one disc along with the “Last Mission” episode, an “Eternal Calm” video, and bonus audio, for 7,140 yen at retail or 6,400 yen via the PlayStation Store.

The Vita version will be split into two separate releases. Final Fantasy X HD will include the “Eternal Calm” video and bonus audio, while Final Fantasy X-2 HD includes the “Last Mission” episode and bonus audio. Each title will cost 3,990 yen at retail or 3,600 yen via the PlayStation Store. A Twin Pack containing both games will also be available for 7,140 yen at retail or 6,400 yen digitally.

Square Enix is yet to announce an official release date for the west.
