Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has announced a new special edition Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster re-designed PlayStation Vita.

No official release date for the special edition handheld was offered, but expect it to be on the same day as Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster releases in Japan–still no release date for that, sorry.

It wasn’t mentioned if this special edition will make it to North America and Europe.
