Final Fantasy XIII-2 Casino, Time Labyrinth and Sazh Details

THE BUZZ: Japanese Magazine Dengeki has a few new Final Fantasy XIII-2 details in its latest issue, including information on the Casino, Time Labyrinth system and a new cast member.

Firstly the game’s casino component will take place in the city of Xanadu and will feature Chocobo races and slot machines. A new system known as Time Labrynths will also be introduced, these dungeons have disappearing floors and you will need to collect crystals by solving puzzles in order to advance. Easier versions of these dungeons will be part of the story, however more difficult ones will be available as optional side missions if you wish to undertake them. Finally Sazh was revealed as a new character who is apparently undertaking activities to make Grand Pulse a better place.

EGM’s TAKE: Square-Enix is trying its best to right the wrongs of the original game and they appear to be doing a good job of it.
