Final Fantasy XIII-2 Gameplay Variety Trailer

THE BUZZ: Square-Enix has released a new gameplay trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2.

EGM’s TAKE: The trailer takes a look at the various gameplay elements that are included in the sequel such as side quests, puzzles, a casino and Chocobo racing. ”Also included in the video is footage of Captain Cryptic’s Confounding Quiz, where the player must eavesdrop on the citizens of a certain city for clues as to his whereabouts, and crack his confusing conundrums to win a special reward,” the publisher says. Now this looks like a lot of fun, a detective mini-game which will offer a nice change of pace. The most exciting part of this trailer is a chance to take part in Chocobo racing once again, though sadly you can’t ride them this time.
