Final Fantasy XIII-2 Lightning DLC Releases Next Week

THE BUZZ: Square-Enix has confirmed that the Lightning DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2 will release next week.
The DLC is scheduled to release February 7 on Xbox Live and PSN, and adds Lightning and Lt. Amoda to the game’s Coliseum mode. It will be priced at 300 Yen on PS3 and 240 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360.
EGM’s TAKE: A lot of fans will be happy to see Lightning returning to the game as a playable character, after she played such an important role in the first part. In order for her to join your party you must first beat her in Coliseum mode, then you will have the option to recruit her and use her in battle. Coliseum mode is a series of battles against various bosses and enemies, the perfect way to bring back a number of old bosses from Final Fantasy games past and a nice reason to explain the return of old characters. With DLC, the possibility of who you could face is endless.
