Final Fantasy XIII-2

THE BUZZ: Square-Enix has released a brand new trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2, which takes a look at a new system that has been added allowing you to capture monsters and use them in battle alongside you.

“For the first time in a Final Fantasy game, the player has the ability to capture monsters for use in future battles,” the publisher said. ”Each monster has a specific role to play in combat, and there are over 150 to collect, each with their own special attack. As with the main members of the party, each unique Monster can be developed and leveled up too.”

EGM’s TAKE: Another interesting feature added to XIII-2. This is truly shaping up to be the epic next generation Final Fantasy game that fans dreamed of.
