The third beta test for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn begins this weekend on PlayStation 3 and PC, Square Enix has confirmed.

The beta will include the cross-platform play feature allowing PlayStation 3 players to play with PC players on the same server. The beta is live right now and will run until 10 a.m. BST on Sunday.

You can apply to be part of the beta here. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is due to release worldwide on both platforms August 27.
