Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn signals a complete overhaul of Square Enix’s floundering MMO, even the game’s character creation system has been given a makeover and looks a lot deeper if these new screenshots are anything to go by.

A Realm Reborn is scheduled to go live on PC later this year, with a PlayStation 3 release set happen either late this year or early 2013. You can check out the screenshots below.
