Previous subscribers were supposed to be able to jump back into Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn for free last Friday, but Square Enix has announced that the free weekend has been pushed back to this Friday instead.

“The Welcome Back campaign previously announced to commence this weekend has been shifted to next weekend with final details to be announced,” the publisher wrote on Twitter.

The free weekend was set to run from July 11-14, and offers previous subscribers a chance to return to the game for free to check out new content that has been added since they left. Square Enix recently released patch 2.3 for the game that adds a new Primal, a 72-player PvP mode called Frontlines, new quests, Chocobo Raising, and more.
