During Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn‘s most recent Letter from the Producer, Naoki Yoshida offered a sneak peek at the game’s upcoming wedding outfits.

At some point after patch 2.3 Square Enix will add a marriage system to the game, allowing two players to tie the knot. For the ceremony each player will receive a wedding outfit (rough design above), and the happy couple can ride in a wedding garbed Chocobo pulled carriage. Afterwards each player will have a wedding ring in their inventory, and throwing it away with result in a “divorce.”

Final Fantasy XIV‘s next major patch, Defenders of Eorzea, will add a new Primal (Ramuh) who will drop level 100 weapons, accessories, and a rare mount.
