Final Fantasy XIV Patch 2.35 adds new daily quests, tweaks hunt system

Square Enix has released patch 2.35 for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn which tweaks the hunt system, adds new daily quests, and more.

First up, upon logging in players will be able to begin helping out the Ixal in North Shroud with a new set of daily quests. These are like the other Beastman daily quests already in the game, however now players can also perform delivery crafting missions for the Ixal. Reaching maximum reputation with all five factions will unlock a new bonus quest chain.

Some changes have also been made to the controversial hunt system. From now on B rank hunts will no longer give any rewards upon killing them and their spawn timer has been reduced to five seconds. Now the only way to earn rewards for B rank mobs is to have the corresponding daily/weekly mark for it. A and S ranks remain unchanged.

Finally, players can now change the color of their Chocobo via some new gardening items. Feeding a Chocobo one of these items will alter its color on a RGB scale, so players can get any color they wish.

You can check out the full patch notes here.
