Square Enix has promised to give fans their first glimpse of Final Fantasy XIV running on a PlayStation 3 next month.
The publisher has promised that the game will be available late this year around the same time as the PC update to Final Fantasy XIV. Producer Naoki Yoshida has now stated that the first screenshots of the game running on a PlayStation 3 will be released sometime next month.
“We’ll be releasing the initial information [on the PS3 version] around mid-October,” he told fans during a recent online chat session. “I believe we’ll have screenshots first, but please hang in there.”
A Realm Reborn sees a complete overhaul of the original Final Fantasy XIV, with a new graphics engine, abilities, continents, and story.
