During the latest Letter from the Producer Live, Square Enix shared its post-launch content schedule for Final Fantasy XIV’s Shadowbringers expansion.
First up will be the release of update 5.01 on July 16th, which brings with it the normal version of Shadowbringers’ first raid called Eden.
“Beyond the boundaries of Norvrandt lies the Empty─a land drowned in the primordial light of the Flood,” the raid’s description reads. “To redress the balance of the elements, our hero must wield a power the likes of which the First has never known. The power of Eden.”
Following 5.01, will be update 5.05 on July 30th. This update will introduce the savage difficulty of the Eden raid, a new treasure hunt dungeon called Lyhe Ghiahl, and a new Allagan tomestone of Phantasmagoria currency.
The expansion was officially unveiled last year and will bring with it an increased level cap, two new Jobs, new areas to explore, new dungeons, additional weapons and armor, a 24-player raid based on NieR: Automata, and much, much more.
Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers launches July 2nd for PlayStation 4 and PC. However, preordering the expansion will grant players early access from June 28th.
