Square Enix announced plans to release at least three new episode DLCs for Final Fantasy XV in 2018 during a recent Active Time Report (via Gematsu).

According to director Hajime Tabata, the first of these episodes will focus on the game’s antagonist Ardyn. The rest of the game’s future content has not been fully nailed down yet, but Tabata is aware of fans wanting to see a Luna episode.

While Tabata said that he is aiming to release at least three episodes in 2018, he added that the focus is to release content that fans will be happy with, so some of it may be pushed out to 2019 if required.

As well as announcing this future DLC, Square Enix also revealed during the livestream that Final Fantasy XV’s December update will introduce the ability to swap between Noctis and his crew on the fly during battles.

Final Fantasy XV is available now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
