A new image has been released teasing the character-creation tool for Final Fantasy XV.
Arriving as part of an interview with Dual Shockers, the image of the character creation tool looks like it will offer several toggles to adjust what the character looks like. It goes to assume that while there are only three toggles shown in the image (height, head size, and muscle) that multiple pages of options will exist in the final version.
“The character creation function is actually in the works right now,” said Hajime Tabata, Final Fantasy XV‘s director. “However [it] is not something that we can just show off, as it would probably not wow your readers at this stage. However, what we’re doing right now is not just implementing a character creation feature, but we want to combine that with a multiplayer feature, so that players can not only create a new character, but also bring it in multiplayer.”
There has been no official date put on when the character creation feature—or the game’s promised multiplayer mode—will be implemented.
