Final Fantasy

Square Enix has released a new update for the PC version of Final Fantasy XV.

The update allows players to swap out Noctis for their Comrades avatar by speaking to Avatara, who can be found in numerous locations in the world. After swapping to an avatar, players will see other players’ avatars in the game as “ghosts.” Players can swap back to Noctis at any time via the main menu.

Alongside the option to swap Noctis, this update adds the ability to share up to 10 photos with other players. Shared photos will appear in other players’ games at the location they were taken and can be rated. Players will be rewarded based on the amount of likes their photo receives.

This latest update also sees the introduction of the previously announced treasure system. Players can now find treasures in the world left by Square Enix and other players. The rarity of the treasure will depend on how long it has been since it was placed. One treausre can be placed in the world via the menu each day for other players to find.

Final Fantasy XV is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
