Final Fantasy XV‘s multiplayer expansion Comrades is now available to purchase as a standalone product on consoles.

Comrades lets players create a custom avatar and take part in various Hunt, Defense and Escort quests with up to four players online. In addition to the standalone release, a new update is available for the mode that introduces 10 new powerful bosses for players to take on, including Fierce, Cerberus, and Melusine.

Also launching today is the Final Fantasy XV side of the previously announced crossover with Final Fantasy XIV. From today, players can take part in the “Adventurer from Another World” quest, in which Noctis embarks on a journey with the mysterious Miqo’te, Y’jhimei to Perpetouss Keep. Players can earn Final Fantasy XIV-themed costumes for Noctis, Ignis, Gladiolus and Prompto, as well as new weapons inspired by Garuda by completing the quest.

Square Enix recently announced the cancellation of all but one of four planned DLCs for Final Fantasy XV. The sole surviving DLC, Episode Ardyn, is scheduled to release in March 2019.

Final Fantasy XV is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
