Square Enix has announced that Episode Ardyn, the final piece of DLC for Final Fantasy XV, will be released on March 26th, 2019.

In addition to announcing the date, Square Enix released an animated short for the DLC titled Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ardyn – Prologue, which shows what happened to Ardyn before the events of the game.

Originally, the plan was to release a total of four new DLCs for Final Fantasy XV. However, the decision was made to cancel Episode Aranea, Episode Lunafreya, and Episode Noctis back in November last year due to a direction change for the company and director Hajime Tabata leaving.

Final Fantasy XV is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
