Final Fantasy

Square Enix has announced (via Gematsu) that it will be holding its final Active Time Report for Final Fantasy XV on March 26th.

According to the description, the upcoming live stream will share new details about an update for Final Fantasy XV, the Final Fantasy XV: The Dawn of the Future novel, and the Episode Ardyn DLC.

The upcoming DLC is set 35 years before the events of Final Fantasy XV and puts players in control of Ardyn after he is freed from an extra-long life of imprisonment. After being freed, Ardyn discovers the truth and decides to take revenge upon the Kingdom of Lucis.

The original plan was to release a total of four new DLCs for Final Fantasy XV. However, Episode Aranea, Episode Lunafreya, and Episode Noctis were canceled back in November last year due to a direction change for the company and director Hajime Tabata leaving. Episode Ardyn will be the final piece of DLC content released for Final Fantasy XV.

Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ardyn launches March 26th, 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
