The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences announced their nominations for the 21st annual D.I.C.E. (design, innovate, communicate, and entertain) Awards over the weekend. The D.I.C.E. Awards annually celebrate the biggest moments in gaming of the previous year in 24 categories, which are voted on by panels of developer judges from across gaming. Kind of like how the people within the film industry vote on the Oscars. This year celebrates one of the most diverse years in great gaming, and it shows with 68 different games getting at least one nomination.

Leading the pack by a longshot this year is Horizon Zero Dawn, which racked up 10 different nominations, including one for game of the year. The next closest to Horizon is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a fellow GOTY nominee, with six. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and Cuphead came in with five nominations each.

“Congratulations to all the 2017 nominees—an amazing list of diverse experiences that really embody the creative ambitions and achievements that define our industry,” said Meggan Scavio, President, Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences. “I want to thank our passionate jury panelists that dedicate their time and expertise to drive our peer process and distinguish the best of the best in interactive entertainment.”

The winners in all categories will be revealed live on Thursday, February 22nd, from Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The show kicks off at 8 PM PT/11 PM ET and will be live streamed. The show is being hosted once again by Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller, and Nerdist’s Jessica Chobot. Here now is the full list of nominees for this year’s show.
