Destiny

Hot on the heels of a big gameplay debut during Sony’s E3 press conference, Activision and Bungie have released the very first in-engine trailer for Destiny, their hotly anticipated multiplayer sci-fi FPS.

The nearly three-minute trailer briefly introduces us to the game’s setting, a post-apocalyptic version of Earth  in which humanity has been decimated by alien invaders and managed to survive only in a single city that’s fallen under the protection of a mysterious spherical spaceship. The trailer also offers a look at the game’s alien foes, the Fallen, as well as some of the different character classes and weapons players will be able to use.

Destiny launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 sometime in 2014.
