The next game in the Fatal Frame (Project Zero) series will be available in Japan on September 27, Nintendo and Tecmo Koei have announced.

Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden was officially announced during a recent livestream. Along with the announcement, a debut gameplay trailer (above) was released which shows the main character, called Yuri Kozukata, tip-toeing through a rather dark and scary-looking forest—something that is never a good idea.

The Black Haired Shrine Maiden will be a Wii U exclusive, but there was no news of a western release.

The last entry in the series, Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, launched for Wii in 2008 in Japan, but was never localized.
