THE BUZZ: Platinum Games has released the first gameplay footage of Bayonetta in Anarchy Reigns.

The curvaceous witch was announced earlier this week as a pre-order bonus in Japan, but has today also been confirmed for the West.

The developer says that details of how to get Bayonetta on this side of the world will be announced soon.

EGM’s TAKE: Bayonetta is probably the best original game character in the last fives years, so it’s no wonder that she became an instant hit with fans. The stripping semi naked, wearing catsuits, and sucking lollipops probably helped a bit too. However, there’s no doubt that a few more people are now interested in Anarchy Reigns after this announcement.
