The first installment of the 500,000 GTA$ stimulus Rockstar promised to Grand Theft Online players earlier this month is slated to drop sometime this week, Rockstar announced via Twitter.

Almost two weeks ago, Rockstar announced they would split up a 500,000 GTA$ stimulus into two 250,000 GTA$ payments for players who weathered GTA Online‘s storm of server-related issues during its launch at the start of this month. Everyone who joined and played GTA Online in the month of October is eligible for the stimulus, which will be deposited directly into players’ GTA Online bank accounts.

Rockstar originally planned to push the first payment out last week, and post the second by month’s end. It seems, now, that the second payment will come out early November, rather than back-to-back to this first payment by arriving sometime next week.
