First Halo 4 In-Game Screenshots Revealed
Posted on March 5, 2012 AT 06:22am
THE BUZZ: The first in-game screenshots of Halo 4 have leaked online ahead of Microsoft’s planned announcement later today.
The screenshots were leaked via Gamerlive.TV (via NeoGAF) but have since been removed. Paul Featherstone, assistant director of photography at 343 Industries, took the screenshots and claims that they are ”100% untouched,” using a “debug cam with in-engine Depth-of-field.”
Halo 4 principal engine programmer Corrinne Yu hyped up the upcoming sequel on her Twitter page:
“It’s the best looking game on Xbox and any other consoles we ever made and we’re all from AAA studios. So proud of team.”
EGM’s TAKE: It’s finally real, ever since that trailer at E3 Halo 4 has been a mysterious entity, but now we have real screenshots everything seems a little closer to reality. Of course they don’t show much, just Master Chief looking all serious with his battle rifle. Hopefully Microsoft will reveal more to us later today.
