THE BUZZ: Capcom has released the first image and footage of the upcoming Ace Attorney movie. The picture is being directed by Takashi Miike, best known for cutting-edge films like Audition and Ichi the Killer, and stars Hiroki Narimiya as Phoenix Wright. Sadly there are no plans at the moment to release the film outside of Japan.

EGM’s TAKE: Of all the games you could make films out of Ace Attorney seems an odd choice, but with Miike at the helm it undoubtedly will push the envelope.
